Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Says Who, operated by Eliot Guthrie. By texting (484) 729-7946 or using this site, you agree to them.
SMS program terms
- Program: Says Who sends text messages in reply to yours: confirmations of places you save, recommendations from your network, links, and account notices.
- Opt in: You opt in by texting JOIN (or any message) to (484) 729-7946. We never text a number that has not texted us first.
- Frequency: Message frequency varies with your use.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: Reply STOP at any time. You will get one confirmation and no more messages. Text START to resume.
- Help: Reply HELP or email eliotguthrie@gmail.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. No mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing.
Beta
Says Who is in beta. The service may change, break, or pause, and the way members are connected may change when the beta ends. Members who join without an invite are connected to Eliot and, through him, to each other.
Your account
You must be 18 or older. Your phone number is your account. You are responsible for what you send and for keeping your phone secure.
Your content
You keep ownership of the places, notes, and photos you send. You give us permission to store them, process them, and show them to your friends and friends of friends as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not send anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from other people and may be wrong, out of date, or closed. Check hours and details yourself. Use your own judgment and stay safe.
Paid features
Some features may require a paid subscription, billed through our payment processor. Prices, renewal, and cancellation details are shown at checkout. You can cancel any time from your account page.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse, harass, spam, scrape, or try to break the service, or use it to find or contact people who do not want to be contacted.
Ending service
You can stop at any time by texting STOP, or delete your data by texting DELETE MY DATA. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimer and liability
Says Who is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do.
